Hamerex would like to give a very warm welcome to Simon Brooks, who is now the bands new bass player. Since Chris’ departure back in August, Hamerex have remained a three piece and saw out the remaining shows of 2014 with Steve becoming the bands frontman for the forseeable future.

The decision was made after a bit of discussion and advice that we took in to consideration, that Andy would change to guitar, and we’d search for a new bassist while we focused heavily on upcoming recording projects throughout 2015.

So, shortly after putting a quick word out, Simon got in touch then we did our first rehearsal together the following month, which went really well so it became a no brainer that he was a right fit for the band.
