Joe Wilson Leaves The Band

Unfortunately, Joe has decided to leave the band. The decision he made to leave wasn’t an easy one and was made due being unable to commit to the band realistically with his work hours as well as things in his personal life.

Joe Wilson Leaves The BandIt has been a pleasure having Joe in the band over the last 4 years and will be missed. He’s not just a band mate but a friend to everyone in Hamerex and will always remain a friend. During his time in the band he’s contributed to song writing with credits on Hypnotise, Rites Of Passage and To The End as well as mixing on the Rites Of Passage album. He has been very enthusiastic throughout his time with us and it’s a shame we’re parting ways.

Hamerex will continue as a 4 piece for the remaining gigs throughout the year, and to reassure everyone, the band will not be splitting up and aim to carry on and look forward to working on the follow up to Rites Of Passage.

From all of us in the band we wish Joe all the best for the future and we still may see him join us on stage for the odd show.

We will keep you informed on when we start to look for a replacement and will give details to anyone interested in trying out.
